What I do
I deliver high-quality video content for brands, broadcasters, and agencies. This includes directing, cinematography, editing, and managing full productions end-to-end. I provide lighting and camera setups that achieve the look the client wants — whether that’s for commercials, music videos, short films, or corporate content.
Experience
I’ve been working professionally in film and video for over 10 years. I’ve been commissioned to create work for Channel 4, and shot work for CBS, and Amazon Prime. My short films have screened at major festivals such as BFI London Film Festival, Aesthetica, BIFA & OSCAR qualifying festivals and LA Shorts International.
I’ve delivered projects for clients including Google and major creative agencies, and I’m used to working in a range of settings — from live events and commercial shoots to fast-turnaround branded content. I’m confident using Alexa, Sony, Canon, and Blackmagic cameras, and I’ve built strong relationships with Canon and Blackmagic over the years.
How I became a filmmaker
I started out being trained in the editing department, working on a Sky One sitcom. That gave me a solid technical foundation and a clear sense of how to structure a story. I later moved into camera and lighting work, and over time, started directing too. I’ve also taken part in national development schemes with BAFTA and BFI.
A typical day in my working life
The work varies. Some days I’m on set directing or operating camera. Other days I’m setting up lighting for someone else’s shoot, or managing a full production from script to final delivery. I’ve worked in everything from live NHS surgeries to venues like the Royal Albert Hall. I stay calm under pressure, I’m easy to work with, and I am very passionate about filmmaking.
